International Family Film Festival
Free Lunchtime Screening of Winning Films Produced by Kids

The International Family Film Festival is a non-profit organization which has dedicated itself for the last 11 years to quality family programming. In 1994, The International Family Film Festival (IFFF) was founded in the Santa Clarita Valley as the first film festival dedicated exclusively to the family audience.

Annually, IFFF accepts approximately 300 films and 150 screenplays from around the world. Independent producers, commercial studios, professional and amateur students, create this International body of work. A three-tier jury process selects between 60 to 70 films and 10 screenplay finalists for the April festival.

During the seven-day festival, all films are shown a minimum of two times each on theater screens and the screenplay finalists are presented at a Screenwriters Showcase where an excerpt (eleven minute length) of each script is prepared and read by professional actors. Filmmakers and screenwriters are able to attend the festival to see their work on screen or being read professionally. Film distributors, agents, investors, producers, directors and film enthusiasts attend the festival to experience new and fresh film products and to be the first to see these premiering films and to meet the creators “up close and personal”.

Over the past eleven years, IFFF has become known as one of the premiere locations where producers and creators interested in the family film genre can network, do business and share insights with one another. IFFF provides a home and a resource to these independent filmmakers.
